Contraptions Galore 2: Engineering Challenges

Explorers love gadgets- and getting to design and build contraptions from recyclables is a fun way to flex those creative neurons!  

Contraptions Galore is packed with now challenges!  We will work individually and in groups to tackle engineering challenges such as:

• Design an air powered vehicle.  
• Design and build a contraption that will help Jack escape the giant and get down from the Bean Stalk.
• Design and build a water tower that will hold a container of water without spilling.

As we work through the challenges and build gadget solutions, we will wonder, imagine, design and plan, build, test, and share our products.  Your children won't realize it, but as they work through the engineering process, they will refine math, physics, engineering and design skills. 

Contraptions Galore 2 will meet for 6 weeks beginning the week of November 7th and finish the week of December 16, 2019.
