Girls! Electric Arts

Electric Arts encourages Innovators to explore the “A” in STEAM as they design works of art with circuits, LEDs, and Scratch Coding. 

During this 8-week class, Innovative Girls will work individually and in groups to complete circuitry design projects such as:

  • Conductive “Squishy” circuits
  • Paper Circuits with conductive tape and graphite lead
  • Explore the basics of Scratch coding and circuitry to design a multi-media project with a Makey Makey computer board
  • Light-up artwork and Wearables  

Shhh….the December projects will be kept secret as each student designs and makes a Christmas Present or two.

Electric Arts will meet for 6 weeks beginning the week of October 21st and finish the week of December 16, 2019.

Restrictions

Participants must currently be in grades 3 to 6.

This class is open to females only.
